What happens after I request an estimate?
We'll reach out within 24 hours to confirm your project details and schedule an on-site visit. During the visit, we assess the site conditions — soil, grading, drainage, access — measure the scope of work, and discuss your goals and finish preferences. Within a few days, you'll receive a detailed written estimate that breaks down every component: excavation, sub-base preparation, forming, steel reinforcement, the pour, finishing, sealing, and any demolition or removal if it's a replacement project. No pressure, no obligation — the estimate is yours to review on your own time.
How much does a concrete project cost?
Every project is different, and cost depends on the type of work, total square footage, the finish you choose, site conditions, and whether there's existing concrete that needs to be removed first. A standard broom-finish
driveway or
patio will be the most affordable, while
stamped concrete, colored finishes, or projects with significant grading and drainage work will cost more. We don't give ballpark numbers over the phone because every property is different — that's why the on-site estimate matters. What we can promise is that our pricing is transparent, itemized, and competitive.
How far out are you scheduling new projects?
We typically schedule new projects within one to two weeks of estimate approval. During peak season — late spring through early fall — lead times may extend slightly, but we always give you an exact start date upfront so you can plan. Once we're on your job, we work efficiently. Most
driveways,
patios, and
garage slabs are completed in one to three days on site.
Foundations and
retaining walls may take three to five days depending on scope.
Do I need to be home during the estimate or the project?
We prefer that you're home for the initial estimate so we can walk the site together, discuss your vision, and answer any questions face to face. During the actual project, you don't need to be home — but we'll keep you updated throughout with clear communication on daily progress, any decisions that come up, and timing for each phase. We treat your property with the same respect we'd want on our own, and we clean up at the end of every work day.
Do you require a deposit before starting work?
Yes, we collect a deposit once the estimate is approved and before we schedule your start date. The deposit secures your spot on our calendar and covers initial material procurement. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project. Everything is outlined clearly in the written estimate — deposit amount, payment schedule, and scope of work — so there are no surprises on either side. We don't ask for full payment up front, and we don't move on until the work meets our standard and yours.
What if I'm not sure what I need — can you help me figure it out?
That's exactly what the on-site estimate is for. Many homeowners know they want something done — a cracked driveway replaced, a patio added, water drainage fixed — but aren't sure about the best approach, the right finish, or what the project actually involves. We walk the property with you, assess the conditions, and explain your options in plain language — what we recommend, why, and what each option costs. There's no pressure to decide on the spot, and we're happy to answer questions after the visit as you think it over.
